Helmet Identification

Hi,I just bought this helmet off ebay recently and the seller said it was dug up in a Stalingrad battlefield and he was not sure which Army wore this helmut,so im here to ask Can anyone ID what type of helmut this is-which Army wore it?

Although looking around in I didn't see anything that matches up in the photos provided. I think it's definitely not German, neither a 'Stahlhelm' (sp?) nor is it a paratrooper's helmet.

Germans had allied troops fighting on the eastern front; I wonder if it may come from a German ally, if it is not Russian.

By sheer probability, though, it's very likely to be a Russian relic.

Thanks for posting it at that website I appreciate it! looks like its an Italian helmet then,Im happy i bought it
